New teardown project

TDA has recently acquired an Airbus A320-200 for teardown.
MSN 2475, formerly operated by Tianjin Airlines, is our first aircraft teardown project in Southeast Asia. The aircraft is currently being disassembled in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Teardown process

Following the teardown, TDA adopted a regional supply strategy for this project. Rather than routing all removed components exclusively through our own warehouses, a significant portion has been shipped directly to repair and overhaul facilities, while selected inventory has been allocated to our warehouse network across Europe, Asia, and North America. This approach enables faster turnaround times, reduces logistics lead times, and strengthens support for operators in key markets.

This teardown further strengthens TDA’s narrow-body component portfolio and expands our support capabilities for the Airbus A320 family. The aircraft represents the 15th A320 in our teardown portfolio and marks the first Airbus A320 acquired from Mainland China.
