New teardown project
TDA is pleased to announce the acquisition and teardown of Airbus A319 MSN1880, formerly operated by Skytraders. The aircraft is currently undergoing teardown with eCube at their facility in Coolidge, Arizona.
Back in the U.S. teardown market
The project marks an important milestone for Touchdown Aviation, as MSN1880 is our first teardown project in the United States in several years. With the aircraft being dismantled locally in Arizona and the recovered components subsequently positioned at our Miami facility, TDA is once again strengthening its presence in the U.S. teardown and aircraft parts market.
The decision to introduce MSN1880 to our U.S. inventory is also a deliberate one. The aircraft provides a valuable source of components for operators that continue to operate legacy A320-family aircraft.
Components recovered from MSN1880 will progressively become available through TDA’s global sales network, with a particular focus on supporting customers throughout the United States and North America.
