Teardown A320-214 MSN574 (ex-Swiss)

New teardown project

TDA has secured an additional A320 aircraft for part-out, MSN574 (an A320-200) is currently being disassembled by eCube in Castellón, Spain. It’s the 12th A320 aircraft to be added to the teardown portfolio of TDA. With this project, we extend our support to the narrow-body USM market.

Currently in disassembly

The disassembly process is almost completed. All vital components have been removed and are currently on their way to our warehouses all around the world.

The aircraft comes with some interesting items. MSN574 is equipped with a relatively new rudder and a sliding window. These were replaced in 2017 with the C-Check. The airframe also contains a cargo rail system floor, for moving containers to the front and the back of the hold.

The majority of the parts will ship to our Amsterdam warehouse, from where we shall serve the USM market.

This historical milestone once again emphasizes the rapid growth of TDA, enabling us to offer the highest quality and configuration of components on the market. We will continue to acquire younger aircraft for teardown, also differentiating us from the competition at this level.

Parts enquiry and special requirements

Since we are amid teardown, it’s currently possible to place requests for special parts such as cut off cockpits (for flight simulation purposes), complete fuselages (suitable for training and educational purposes), and more. All components harvested from this aircraft will be tagged as soon as possible for end-use purposes.
